Ghanian artiste C-Zar has made a call to the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) to take charge of affairs to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
The ‘Araba Lawson’ singer has lashed out at people buying face masks that are sold unpackaged.
In the President’s seventh address to the Nation on Sunday, after lifting the lockdown, he pleaded that people make wearing face mask a habit if there is the need to go out.
However, there have been reports of vendors mishandling the masks; reports that some of them pick already used masks and wash them and people trying out the masks before choosing a preferred one.
C Zar believes such things are happening because the FDA is not regulating the agenda.
Taking to Facebook April 24, 2020, he noted, “Is it lack of education or naturally we are fools as black race .people are buying face masks that are exposed to COVID 19 cos they are selling them at the open floor, instead of putting them in a box or plastic coverings…FDA this is your work, go out there n put things in place… I fear for Ghana
