For some time now beef from the female acts in the music industry has kept the scene occupied as the world continues to deal with the coronavirus pandemic and ban on social gatherings.
What started with someone “playing with the beat” blew into strings of beef songs from female artistes who have been inactive for a while.
According to Sista Afia, she did not start with the intention of getting a reply from anyone but her explanation came too late because Freda responded, followed by Eno and then Ohemaa Dadao and Queen Haizel all replied with diss songs.
However, it seems what is being enjoyed as entertainment has become personal attacks between Sista Afia and Freda Rhymz, taking the spotlight from the others involved.
In a recent interview, Sista Afia apologized to Freda and said she was not going to continue the back and forth which could only mean she is done with the beef.
But entertainment critic, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo is not exactly on the same page with them.
He noted that beef is good and that he expects a reply from Eno Barony since she did not reply Freda.
“Beef is good. Seriously I’m expecting another diss song. I expect Eno Barony to respond to Freda Rhymz because the shots she directed at Eno, the response is yet to come,” Arnold said on UTV.
He further said although beef is good, it should not be allowed to get physical.
“In as much as we applaud beef, I’ve always said under no circumstance should it end in physical. For that, we won’t support” adding that equal attention should be given other projects that are not beef-related.
