Rapper Medikal has disclosed that while coming up, he asked for a feature from Kesse but charged him an amount he could not afford at the time.
The ‘Poof Gang’ singer noted that coming up artistes turned him down when he reached out to them but he refused to name names.
According to him, it is a normal experience so he did not take offence.
Speaking to Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, he said,” I remember this one time I liked Kesse for a song and he charged me. That time I had nothing so, I couldn’t do the song. I think he charged me GHS 1000. I didn’t have the money,” he recounted.
“But it’s normal because it’s work, they charge to do features. It isn’t something to take personally. It’s one of the things you go through as an artiste coming up,” he added.
