Lynx Entertainment signee, Kidi has disclosed that he gets inspiration for doing his songs from the weirdest of moments.
According to him, sometimes he has to put himself in the state of the audience to think of how they’ll feel hearing him and that pushes him to do the songs to fit.
“Usually in the studio, I put the inspiration aside, I put myself on the stage in front of a crowd. Sometimes when I record the song, I’ll get up and then go back and imagine like everybody is a crowd and I’m performing it, how will I want them to hear it, how will I want them to respond to it and it makes it easy because once I put myself in your shoe, I can envision what you’d love to hear,” he told Miriam on 3FM.
Touching on the weirdest forms, he said “inspiration hits in the weirdest places at the weirdest times.
“I may be doing the number two, I may be bathing, I may be in the middle of something- fun activity, extracurricular activity. Weirdest time,” he added.
