Musician Becca has said Nana Romeo must as a matter of urgency apologise to Wendy Shay for how he treated her on his show yesterday.
Wendy Shay while on her promotional tours for her new song, ‘Emergency’ which features Boson PYung made an appearance on Nana Romeo’s show on Accra FM June 9, 2020.
During the interview, Nana Romeo repeatedly asked if she was having sexual affairs with her manager, Bullet.
“I am not dating Bullet. I don’t know why most of the time when I go for interviews, instead of focusing on issues that will bring progress in our music industry, I get these questions … Let’s focus on my artistry, pushing my brand and Ghana music to the international level”, Wendy Shay replied.
“I’m here to promote my single and I’m celebrating two years in the industry. Let’s move to the next question,” she added.
When Wendy said she found his questions inappropriate, the host, Nana Romeo insisted he had proof that Bullet was sleeping with her.
Infuriated by the gesture, she apologised to the listeners and her fans and walked out of the studio.
The interview was streamed on Facebook live but after she walked out, it was shared and was in the trends.
Becca took to Twitter to also shared her opinion on the issue. She condemned Romeo’s act and added that “trying to harass any female, especially in our industry will never be condoned.”
She urged that “he needs to urgently apologize to Wendy and Kidi immediately. ”
