Rapper Strongman has stated that all the artistes who have come out with stories about what they went through while signed to labels saw nothing close to what he went through.
He noted that he went through so much but chooses not to talk about it because he is loyal to Sarkodie.
He said this in an interview with NYDJ on YFM where he advised to not sign deals with record labels that are managed by active musicians.
According to him, fans of the managers refuse to come to terms with the fact that deals end and the artiste and managers would at some point go their separate ways and that they continue to attack fans long after they part ways.
Touching on why he still has not spoken about all he went through under the Sarkcess label, he said, “I’m just trying to be loyal to the brand. But if I should come out to talk, none of the signees who have left their labels has even talked about a quarter of what I went through. I’ve gone through a lot… The funny thing is you’ll still see Sark fans calling me ungrateful. Do you know what I’m supposed to talk about that I decided not to talk about?”
He added that aside from being loyal and respecting the brand, he sees no need in reiterating and recounting all that he went through although it was not easy for me.
However, he would never advise his child or family member to get signed to any record label. He would make them quit music for another job if they have to.
