After serving fans with his Putuu freestyle song for a while, Stonebwoy decided to shoot a music video to add more flavour to the buzz he was already enjoying on social media.

Prior to dropping the video, he posted pictures of himself and Togolese international footballer Emmanuel Adebayor who was featured in the video.

Apparently, he travelled to Togo to shoot some scenes with Adebayor.

He finally dropped the much-anticipated video on August 23, 2020, and clearly, there are scenes shot with Adebayor.

What is not clear, however, is how Stonebwoy managed to get to Togo for the shoot.

Ghana’s borders have been closed for months; since March 22, 2020, due to the coronavirus outbreak.

In the meantime, the President is hopeful of re-opening the borders by air in September. He gave this assurance in his recent address on the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I want to be sure we are in a position to test every single passenger that arrives in the country to avoid the spread of the virus. The outcome of that exercise will show us the way and determine when we can reopen our border by air.”

“I am hoping by God’s grace, we will be ready to do so by September 1,” the President said.

There have been cases of the guards at the Togo border abusing people who tried to cross over to either side.

The borders are closed. The video was shot in Togo: Adebayor is in Togo, the camera clearly showed his huge gate (Cardi B’s WAP style. If you know what I’m saying) with the inscription “SEA” the initials of the footballer’s name- Sheyi Emmanuel Adebayor.

The song was released after the borders were closed so that cancels the possibility of shooting in Ghana or someone else’s house and as far as we know, there is no means of going to Togo and coming back.

This brings us back to the point. How did Stonebwoy shoot a video in Togo when the borders remain closed?
