Former president of America, Barack Obama has praised late actor Chadwick Boseman.
He recounted meeting the actor during the time he played the role of former Brooklyn Dodgers player Jackie Robinson in the film titled 42.
It is a 2013 sports film written and directed by Brian Helgeland.
It depicts racial integration of American professional baseball. Jackie Robinson wore jersey number 42 throughout his major league career.
Chadwick died from stage IV colon cancer at the age of 43 on Friday.
The announcement was made on his official social media accounts.

Industry people and fans all over the globe have been pouring in their condolences and praising him for the strong personality he portrayed although battling the disease.
Reacting to the news, Barack Obama noted that Chadwick used his years to inspire young ones while in pain.
“Chadwick came to the White House to work with kids when he was playing Jackie Robinson. You could tell right away that he was blessed. To be young, gifted, and Black; to use that power to give them heroes to look up to; to do it all while in pain – what a use of his years,” he captioned an Instagram post of himself posed with Chadwick.

Chadwick Boseman played notable roles in other movies including 21 Bridges, Get On Up, Marshall, among others but he is more known for his role in the Black Panther.
