Do you remember, Sammy, Nana Ama’s ex-boyfriend?
Social media was sent into a frenzy when a video of a broken-hearted guy, crying and screaming the name ‘Nana Ama’ surfaced on social media.
It was later found out through a series of audios and screenshots that Samuel Aboagye, a student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technolgy had allegedly cheated on his girlfriend; a reason for the break-up.
According to social media, Sammy received a BJ from another lady which Nana Ama found out leading to their breakup.
“It ended in tears”. Sammy is heard in one of the audios sobbing and begging for Nana Ama to not break up with him, and not to give up on him. He was trolled for days over the videos and audios. His audios coined up the phrase “the past is not the present”.
Sammy is in the news once again after a video of his audition for TV3’s ‘Date Rush’ was seen yesterday, Wednesday, October 28, 2020.
This time, Sammy is not in tears like the first time he went viral, Sammy is looking for another Nana Ama. How will that go?
Date Rush is a dating reality show meant to connect single ladies to single gentlemen in Ghana. The show has similarities to the UK’s ‘Take Me Out’ show.
The previous season came in two parts, with each part featuring a man presenting himself to ten ladies, who assess him through three stages and decide whether they like him or not.
The dates include Candlelight dinners, romantic getaways, and other exciting inclusions.
The video of his audition showed him showing off his dance skills in order to get a spot in the show.
It is not clear if Sammy will pass the audition but some have suggested that judging from the uncertainties in that reality show, Sammy may not have the capacity to sail through even when he is selected.
Or maybe, he has developed tough skin for heart-breaks?
Considering what made him famous in the first place, we hope that this new venture will not end in tears again.
