It is rare to get a lot of Ghanaian musicians to tell how much they charge for shows or how much they earn from their music.
Highlife musician Quarme Zaggy has named his price. According to him, he charges not less than GHS 15,000 for show.
In an interview with Kwame Dadzie on Ghana Weekend TV, he said the type of music he does requires that he performs with a full band and that comes with a cost.
According to the ‘Araba’ singer, he pays all the people in the band so the amount he mentioned is the least any musician of his calibre would charge.
Quarme Zaggy is known for songs like ‘Just the Two of Us’, ‘My Desire’, ‘Efa Woho?’, ‘Totofiifii’, ‘Bohye’, among others.
