Ghanaian actress Abla Dzifa Gomashie is now the Member of Parliament-elect for the Ketu-South constituency seat in the Volta Region.
She won the seat for the National Democratic Congress, beating the New Patriotic Party’s David Tiahno Quarshie.
Dzifa replaces Fiifi Kwetey of the NDC who did not seek reelection.
Dzifa Gomashie was the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Arts and Culture in the previous NDC administration.
