Vera Makafui Hamenoo-Kpeda better known in the music industry as MzVee has revealed the major cause of her depression two years ago.
The ‘Natural Girl’ hit maker went under the radar two years ago after she left her record label, Lynx Entertainment.
In an interview on YouTube with Zion Felix, MzVee disclosed the major cause of her depression as distancing herself from her family.
“I was not talking to my family, I was so focused on my music career, thinking of what and where to be next, in terms of shooting videos and shows so much that, I forgot the things that really mattered the most,” She said.
According to MzVee, it is advisable to chase your dreams but not worship them.
“At the end of the day, you are going to leave all these things behind”, she added.
There must be more important things to life than just chasing after material things constantly. The Ghanaian singer talked about the importance of living a balanced life.
“Don’t forget your family, It can end very badly for you,” she admonished.
She added that her comeback hasn’t been easy but she is determined to push harder.
Mzvee is currently promoting her song with Kelvyn Boy titled Vanity.
