Controversial Ghanaian gospel musician, Brother Sammy has explained why there is nothing wrong for him to sing Yaw Tog’s ‘Sore’, a secular song.
After a wedding ceremony, he was found on camera singing the song, and when asked if it was not wrong for a gospel artiste to sing that song, he jokingly said people ‘sleep and wake up’. ‘Sore’ in Twi, literally means ‘wake up.’
But in the context of the sense, it means to rise up and get ready for a cause.
