Sarkodie has apologise to President Nana Akufo-Addo for a comment he made prior to the 2020 election.
Sarkodie, after doing the Happy Day song, had a retweet from the President who thought Sarkodie was patting his government on the back for fixing the erratic power supply in the country.
The rapper who did not like the politicization of his comment, wrote on Twitter, asking Nana Addo not to take advantage of his song.
“Nana M3nfa bronya ho nre akoko oo lool [Nana, don’t take advantage of this] !! when I say aban ( all parties ) Shouts to yourself x JM but if i feel like pointing out the negatives too you know how we do,” he rapped in the song.
However, on Daybreak Hitz on Monday he apologised if his comment came out offensive. He said he said it in jest.
