A former member of the defunct Wutah group has said in a recent interview that he learnt about their split through a newspaper publication at Dansoman in Accra.
He told Andy Dosty on Hitz FM that even though he and his other member Kobby had agreed to go their separate ways, he once visited the newsstand and saw on the front page a CD of Kobby’s new song.
To him, he was shocked to have seen the number of their former manager Kofi Okyere Darko on the CD.
KOD recently said on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z that one of the reasons Wutah duo collapsed was Afriyie’s suggestion to get the bigger part of the revenue, a claim Afriyie has debunked.
He has also noted that the group did not give him his share of the final tranche of the duo’s Glo ambassadorial deal because they claim he had not worked for a period they had split.
