It looks like Pope Skinny and his former friend Shatta Wale may patch up their differences soon.
Pope Skinny has said in a recent interview that he would love to see them come back ad friends again.
“Wale, let us forget everything, our friendship was really admired by many, what one person has said or not said does not matter. If you believe I have not done anything bad against you, I feel the same too. Let’s let bygones be bygones,” Pope Skinny said.
Shatta Wale and Pope Skinny used to be very close friends and even did songs together.
However, their relationship went sour a few years ago, with either party, throwing shades and insults at each other.
While some thought Pope Skinny’s endorsement of Sarkodie’s Advice diss song to Shatta Wale is what may have caused their rift, Pope once revealed that there is more to it than meets the eye.
According to him, he fell out with Shatta because the dancehall king did not like a comment he made about a bus supposedly acquired by the SM boss.
The two did songs like Hot Cake, WaShatta Me, Oil Money, among others.
