Twin celebrity photographers, Emmanuel and Samuel Appiah Gyan aka Twins Don’t Beg have shared an interesting story about how they started their career in photography after meeting Hollywood actor, Oris Erhuero, during a movie shoot in Ghana in 2014.
Speaking in an interview on Citi TV’s Upside Down show, the twins, revealed that they ventured into acting after completing the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), and had the opportunity to meet the Sinbad actor on set during the filming of a Hollywood movie in Koforidua in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
“We met a great photographer during the movie production in Koforidua, and we learnt a lot about photography, but we didn’t have a camera, so Oris Erhuero decided to buy it for us.”
According to the twins, they took photography seriously and were subsequently invited to work for the wife of the then running mate of the main opposition leader, Samira Bawumia, during the 2016 general elections which led to her becoming the second lady of the country in January 2017.
Twins Don’t Beg have since 2017 been working for the vice president’s wife as her official photographers.
