Highlife artiste KK Fosu has spoken about the need for musicians to be able to perform with a live band.
According to him, any artiste who cannot perform with a live band does not deserve to be called a “musician.”
He made the statement in an interview on Happy FM, stressing the need for musicians to hone their craft.
“Let’s take it this way. If you can’t play live band, forget to be part of the game. If you can’t play nor perform with a live band, I don’t see you as a musician. I would be frank with you,” he said.
KK Fosu added that at his age, he can thrill large crowds with his performances. But some musicians of the current generation cannot do so.
KK Fosu, 40, is known for songs such as ‘Kyere Me’, ‘Anadwo Ye De’, ‘Sudwe’, ‘Obaapa’, among others.
