Gospel musician, Brother Sammy, has revealed that he was not paid a pesewa when he was hired to feature in Tracey Boakye’s TV series.
According to Brother Sammy, Tracey Boakye engaged his services as an actor for one of her television series and refused to pay him after he had fulfilled his part of the deal.
The popular singer/actor, who was sharing his experience on United Showbiz on UTV added that his previous experiences with Ghanaian film producers had not been good businesswise as he always ended up being cheated.
He mentioned his colleague and friend, Dr. Likee, who paid him only 40 cedis for his services.
For Tracey Boakye, who is regarded as one of the wealthy producers in the local film industry, Brother Sammy revealed that she only paid for his flight costs and ignored him after the production.
