Any time the nominations for the Grammy Awards or the BET Awards are released, it generates conversations about how Ghanaian musicians are faring.
Most times, when no Ghanaian musician gets a nomination, the discussions get even more intense when people seem not to understand why it is difficult to get into the scheme.
However, it appears Artiste of the Year at the 2022 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, KiDi, does not fret over these awards.
He believes that hard work will bring an artiste the laurels they deserve and that they don’t need to worry too much about it.
He made this statement while speaking to Ghana Weekend’s Olele Salvador in a Twitter Spaces interview.
