A lot of people were surprised when they started seeing Sarkodie displaying cigars in photos and videos.
In some of these videos, he is seen smoking the cigar.
While those who got disappointed in his ‘new’ lifestyle have bashed him, others also believe that the cigar is just a symbol of prestige and that Sarkodie should be allowed to live his life to the fullest.
In his recent chat with Fires Stick, he was asked if anything would make him do a diss track for Shatta Wale again.
Even though he said he feels he would not do that, he was quick to add that he has gotten to a point in time when he doesn’t even trust himself.
“That is how I feel but you never know. Any punch I throw, it is either I want to be petty for no reason, make people say something exciting, or no be say e dey bore but ebe frustration,” he said.
“At this point, if I pick pen say I dey direct shot at somebody, the person rather go benefit. So is it worth it? No. But maybe something go fit come up wey you never go fit. That be why I say I no dey trust myself because things wey I say I nogo do wey I do no. I never think say I go take cigar but now I dey take am. I cannot trust myself 100%,” he added.
Sarkodie has announced that he will be releasing his 8th studio album on November 11, 2022.
