Popular Nigerian singer-songwriter Yemi Alade has survived a car accident while touring in Spain. The accident happened on Thursday, August 17, while she was travelling between Barcelona and Benicassim.
The ‘Johnny’ hitmaker took to her Facebook page on Tuesday, August 22, to share the news of the accident. She explained that together with her crew got involved in a “sudden” crash, but that no one was seriously injured and that she only lost a fingernail.
Despite the accident, the famous Nigerian songstress still performed on stage just 7 hours later. According to her, she experienced a “minor medical emergency” from exhaustion, but she was able to pull through – thanks to the support of her fans and her faith in God.
“Life is for the living…I didn’t want to put this out, but the devil had other plans, but my Jehovah Jirah said no! THE blood of Jesus spoke for us. I only lost a nail.” She revealed.
