Ghanaian dancehall and reggae artist Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., known as Shatta Wale, recently expressed his aspirations for a future collaboration with Beyoncé.
In 2019, Shatta Wale, the leader of the Shatta Movement, had the opportunity to collaborate with Beyoncé on the track “Already,” featured in Beyoncé’s album “The Lion King.” During a conversation with DJ Edu on BBC Xtra 1, Shatta Wale shared his eagerness to collaborate with the American singer once again. He mentioned his desire to feature Beyoncé on his upcoming Konekt Album.
Shatta Wale also discussed the guidance and advice he’s been receiving from Bankule to steer his music in a new direction. In addition, he touched upon his recent collaboration with Nigerian artist Tekno on the track “Incoming” and explained his decision to work more frequently with Nigerian artists.
