Chris Attoh pays tribute to late Hollywood legend James Earl Jones [Video]

Iconic Ghanaian actor Chris Attoh has paid tribute to the late Hollywood legend James Earl Jones.

James Earl Jones aged 93 passed on September 10, 2024. Jones, a longtime sufferer of diabetes, died at his home surrounded by family members, his agent Barry McPherson said. No cause of death was provided.

He appeared in Conan the Barbarian, played Eddie Murphy’s dad in Coming to America and starred in The Hunt for Red October and Patriot Games.

But it was his iconic voice as the villainous Darth Vader for which he was best known.

Ever since the news of his death was announced, many celebrities across the world have paid their respective tributes to him.

The current celebrity to pay tribute to the legendary American actor is Chris Attoh. In a video he posted on X, the iconic Ghanaian actor stated that he was introduced to the late ‘Coming To America’ actor in his early years in his movie “King Solomon Lies”.

According to Chris Attoh, “It is indeed said that the richest place on earth is not in Dubai, is not in any place you think of but actually in the cemetery…We have lost again another huge legend in the acting industry.”

Chris Attoh who has starred in numerous movies locally and internationally including ‘A Trip to America and An Accidental Zombie’ advised:

” For those of us who are still here let’s remember to honour the death by doing the best we can and the things we love while we can and while we can’t.”
