Ex-NFL star and podcast personality Shannon Sharpe has been accused of sexual assault by a woman in her early twenties, who claims she was in a relationship with him when she was 19.
The woman, identified as Gabriella Zuniga, has filed a $50 million lawsuit in Nevada, alleging that while the relationship was largely consensual, there were instances of non-consensual and forceful sexual encounters, including acts best described as unwelcome and painful from “behind”.
According to the lawsuit, the couple met in 2023 after Sharpe offered to fund breast augmentation surgery for Zuniga as a reward for achieving a weight loss milestone. She claims the assaults began in 2024 and suggests there may be video evidence linked to the incidents.
