I won’t leave my husband even if he cheats – Cynthia Morrison

The former Minister of Gender, Children, and Social Protection, Cynthia Mamle Morrison has declared unwavering support for her husband, stating she would remain by his side even if she found him with another woman.

She explained that her commitment stems from the deep connection and understanding they share as a couple.

Morrison stressed the importance of nurturing a marriage rather than abandoning it in search of something new, which may come with unforeseen challenges.

The ex-Member of Parliament for Agona West shared these sentiments during an interview with Joy News on April 24.

She recounted an incident where her former assistant, Chris Arthur, allegedly misled constituents by claiming her husband backed his decision to contest her in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries.

“Even if you come and tell me you saw my husband with another lady, I will not leave him. Even if I go and see him with a lady, I will just pick him up and we will come home,” she said.

Adding “I am telling you on national television because from there, I don’t know the next man I’m going to meet. He could be worse than my husband. So whatever you have, you polish it.”

Morrison contested the 2024 general elections as an independent candidate but failed to secure victory after losing in the NPP primary.
