NDC loyalist and self-styled activist, Frank Kwaku Appiah,popularly known as Appiah Stadium has pleaded with President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC to forgive Acting Gold Board CEO, Sammy Gyamfi.
Gyamfi in a viral video gifted an undisclosed amount of dollars to former fetish priestess turned evangelist, Patricia Asiama, widely called, Nana Agradaa.
In a footage sighted by Ghana Weekend on May 12, Appiah Stadium is seen on his knees, urging the party and Ghanaians to show mercy.
He admitted Sammy Gyamfi’s action was inappropriate but emphasised his significant role in the NDC’s 2024 election win.
Despite Agradaa’s past support for the NPP, Appiah Stadium believes Sammy Gyamfi’s single misstep should not overshadow his loyalty and potential in politics.
