Nigerian rapper Odumodublvckh has disclosed that Afrobeats star Rema contributed N40 million to support his latest track, Pity This Boy.

In an X [formerly Twitter] post on Monday,June 9, Odumodublvckh wrote that “Rema gave me 40 million naira to support the ‘Pity This Boy’ record. 40 million naira. Write that down in Nigerian music folklore. ”

The financial boost is expected to enhance the song’s visibility, which is already gaining traction on streaming platforms. Odumodublvck, known for gritty street anthems, aims to cement Pity This Boy as a standout in Nigeria’s music scene.
