A group of New Patriotic Party (NPP) members believed to be aligned with former Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong visited Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah at the Glorious Word Power Ministries International on Sunday, June 15, 2025, to mark Father’s Day and seek his forgiveness.
The group, known as Youth for Ken pleaded for reconciliation and spiritual support ahead of the 2028 general elections.
“We are here on behalf of Kennedy Agyapong and the NPP to ask for your forgiveness,” the spokesperson said. “Whatever the party has done, we humbly seek peace and restoration on this Father’s Day.”
Rev Bempah, once a vocal supporter of the NPP, distanced himself from the party following a fallout after their 2020 victory, lending his support to the NDC in the 2024 elections.
He warmly received the group, and prayed for them.
