Gospel musician, Evangelist Diana Asamoah has alleged that her elder sister died after abandoning her diabetes medication in favour of a herbal drink promoted by Philadelphia Movement leader and Overseer of the Believers Worship Centre (BWC), Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah.
In a video circulating on social media and sighted by Ghana Weekend, she revealed that her sister, who had battled diabetes for 17 years, stopped taking her prescribed medication and began consuming a so-called miracle ‘sobolo’, a drink blessed and sold by the Believer’s Worship Centre founder.
“She threw away the drugs her husband sent from abroad and relied only on the ‘sobolo.’ That’s what killed her,” Asamoah said.
While denying claims of personal hatred for the Prophet, Diana said her concerns stem from what she described as false teachings.
“I don’t hate him. I’m only urging him to preach the true Word of God,” Asamoah added.
