‘How can I be gay and a womanizer at the same time?’ – Noble Nketsiah responds to rumours

Celebrated Ghanaian gospel artiste Noble Nketsiah has broken his silence on persistent rumours surrounding his personal life, calling them both “amusing” and a natural consequence of public visibility.

Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on Okay FM on July 8, the “Mmofra Yi” hitmaker addressed conflicting claims that he is both gay and a womanizer — rumours he says simply don’t make sense.

“I’ve heard people say I’m gay, and others claim I’m a womanizer,” he said. “It’s amusing to me because I wonder — how can I be both at the same time? It just doesn’t add up.”

Rather than letting the gossip affect him, Nketsiah said he has learned to take such commentary in stride, recognising it as part of the burden of fame, especially for someone in ministry.

“I don’t take it to heart. It’s part of the price for being known. When you’re in ministry or in the public space, people will always have something to say,” he explained.

But the gospel singer went on to criticise the public’s tendency to fixate on rumours, saying many people fail to truly understand the individuals they judge.

“People place too much value on rumours,” he noted. “But if you really get close to me, you’ll see the kind of person I am.”

Nketsiah also recounted a moment when someone told him, “You always act so holy. The day something bad comes out about you, it’ll be serious.”

Despite such remarks, the gospel star remains grounded in his faith.

“I’ve been sustained by the grace of God and I pray He continues to keep me,” he concluded.
