Dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., known by his stage name Shatta Wale, has revealed that he and rap icon Michael Owusu Addo popularly known as Sarkodie have recorded over 16 exclusive songs together.

In a TikTok Live session with Ohemaa Blonde, on Wednesday July 23, Shatta Wale shared insights into their evolving partnership, emphasising a shift from just making music to building a legacy in the industry.

“We’ve recorded, like, over 16 songs now with Sarkodie. Yeah, you know, and it’s exclusive,” Shatta Wale disclosed, sparking excitement among fans.

He described their collaboration as effortless, noting that both artistes understand the “blue points of this game” and can deliver a “banger” whenever they step into the studio.

Beyond music, Shatta Wale highlighted their business ventures, with him running Shaxi, his ride-hailing service, and Sarkodie diving into real estate.

“We’ve had conversations, but what we are seeing now is how we can help build the industry,” he said, signaling a broader vision for their partnership.

He emphasised their mutual support, with both artistes backing each other’s entrepreneurial pursuits while continuing to create music driven by their God-given talents.

This revelation points to a new chapter for the Ghanaian music scene, where Shatta Wale and Sarkodie are not only dropping hits but also reshaping the industry’s future. Fans eagerly await the release of these exclusive tracks, which promise to dominate the airwaves.
