The final funeral rites for Ghanaian Highlife musician Dada KD will begin on Saturday, September 20, 2025, with a Lying in State at the Forecourt of the State House in Accra, his family has announced.

The Burial and Thanksgiving Ceremony will take place the following day, Sunday, September 21, 2025, in his hometown, Agona-Asamang, in the Ashanti Region.

Dada KD, born Nana Kwaku Duah, died on May 17, 2025, after a short illness.

He was known for timeless Highlife songs such as “Yebeye Yen Ho Fi,” “Obiaa Se Eye,” and “So Mu Gye.”

The family is inviting the general public, music lovers, and colleagues in the entertainment industry to join them in honouring his life and legacy.
