Ghanaian Dancehall King, Shatta Wale, has announced a free mega concert dubbed “ShattaFest x ShattaBration” to mark his birthday on October 18, 2025, at the Independence Square in Accra.
The award-winning artiste made the announcement on his Instagram page on October 5, inviting his loyal fans — the Shatta Movement (SM) — to join him in what he describes as the “ultimate birthday celebration of the King.”
“This year, it’s double the energy, double the celebration! Join me, Shatta Wale, on October 18 at Independence Square for the ultimate SHATTAFEST — my birthday SHATTABRATION with the loyal fans who made it all possible,” he wrote.

The event, powered by MTN MoMo, promises an unforgettable experience filled with music, energy, and unity. Fans are encouraged to come dressed in white, symbolising purity, peace, and celebration.
Shatta Wale expressed deep appreciation to his fans for their unwavering support throughout his journey — from music to business — adding that this concert is his way of giving back to the movement that has stood by him over the years.
“Let’s make this one for the history books,” he added, emphasising that entry is absolutely free.
ShattaFest 2025 x ShattaBration is expected to attract thousands of fans across the country and beyond, as the King of African Dancehall celebrates life, love, and the power of the Shatta Movement.
