Entertainment Week Ghana has officially announced Konica Minolta as the headline sponsor for its highly anticipated 2025 edition. The announcement was made by Entertainment Week co-founder, DeGraft Oppong, during the Africa Fintech Summit, marking a major milestone in the lead-up to Ghana’s vibrant December season.

Oppong expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating that “having Konica Minolta on board as our headline sponsor is more than a partnership it’s a statement of intent. This December, Ghana will truly position itself as the Black Star of entertainment, innovation, and creativity across the continent.”

Konica Minolta, a global technology leader headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, operates across diverse business divisions including Office Business and Professional Printing. The company is known for its bizhub series of multifunction printers, AccurioPress digital production machines, and AccurioPro Suite workflow automation solutions. Beyond its innovations in document management and high-speed printing, Konica Minolta has earned global recognition for sustainability, digital transformation, and workplace excellence, with numerous BLI Awards and ENERGY STAR® certifications to its name.

Through this partnership, Konica Minolta aims to support the growing creative and business ecosystem in West Africa where technology, media, and innovation increasingly intersect. The collaboration presents opportunities for Konica Minolta to showcase its workflow and print automation technologies to Africa’s booming creative, event, and corporate sectors, while engaging directly with decision-makers and creative entrepreneurs driving Ghana’s entertainment economy.

Entertainment Week Ghana, set for December 2025, will be a week-long convergence of music, film, tech, art, and business, designed to celebrate Africa’s cultural capital while highlighting Ghana as a global hub for creative exchange. With production and logistical preparations already underway, the event promises to deliver world-class experiences, impactful panels, and unforgettable performances that reinforce Ghana’s reputation as the heartbeat of African entertainment in December.
