Ghanaian musician Sista Afia has issued a formal statement responding to circulating social media reports concerning the stage appearance of a young performer, Tracy Shay, during her recent concert.
In her statement, Sista Afia clarified that contrary to claims making rounds online she did not personally invite Tracy Shay onto the stage.
She explained that she has no knowledge of how or when the young lady accessed the stage during the event distancing herself from suggestions that the moment was orchestrated by her.
The artiste noted that her immediate priority remains the overall success and evaluation of her 10th Anniversary Celebration which marked a major milestone in her music career.
She revealed that she is currently engaging in a series of meetings with her management and team to review all aspects of the event, adding that a more detailed response regarding the matter will be communicated at the appropriate time.
Sista Afia also expressed heartfelt appreciation to her fans, supporters, colleagues, sponsors, and the general public for the overwhelming love and support shown throughout the historic celebration. She emphasised that the encouragement and goodwill she received continue to motivate her as she reflects on the milestone and plans her next steps.
The statement comes amid ongoing online discussions surrounding the concert and highlights the artiste’s call for patience as internal reviews are concluded.
