Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur Fella Makafui has taken to social media to announce a firm stance on protecting her reputation and personal peace in 2026.
In a statement posted on her X account, she expressed frustration over years of public misrepresentation and online harassment.
“This year, I am no longer allowing anyone to play with my name, my peace, or my silence,” Fella Makafui declared.
She explained that throughout her life as a public figure, she has endured “one lie after another, endless assumptions, and deliberate attempts to misrepresent me,” choosing silence, grace, and peace over confrontation.
However, she noted that her silence had often been “mistaken for weakness,” adding that she is now putting an end to the bullying, disrespect, and exploitation of her calm demeanour for entertainment or clout.
She emphasised that going forward, kindness will be reciprocated with kindness, and respect with respect. But she also warned that anyone who crosses the line, spreads falsehoods, or seeks to harm her name or her family will face both her and legal consequences.
“This is not anger, this is boundaries. This is growth. This is self-respect,” Fella Makafui stated, urging the public to embrace decency, accountability, and greatness in the year ahead.
