Ghanaian music star Black Sherif, born Mohammed Ismail Sharrif has extended a significant act of generosity to underprivileged mothers at the Nkrumah and Yebuah Wards of the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.

Through the Mohammed Ismail Sharrif Foundation, the award-winning artiste donated large quantities of assorted essential items to the mothers and fully settled their outstanding medical bills, which amounted to GH¢50,696.00.

The intervention brought relief to several families who were struggling to clear their hospital expenses ensuring that the beneficiaries could focus on recovery and caring for their newborns without financial burden.

The gesture reflects the core vision of the Mohammed Ismail Sharrif Foundation, the charitable organisation established by the musician. The foundation’s work aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3.1 which seeks to reduce the global maternal mortality ratio and promote access to safe, quality maternal healthcare for all women.

Black Sherif’s outreach underscores the importance of compassion, social responsibility, and community support, serving as a reminder that collective efforts can make a meaningful and lasting impact on vulnerable lives.
