Pesa, the global financial platform connecting the diaspora across 60+ countries, is pleased to announce an upcoming Easter CSR activation at the Great Mission International (GMI) Rehabilitation & Children’s Home in Ghana.

Scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 18th, the initiative marks a significant step in Pesa’s mission to move beyond digital transactions and become an active pillar of support for the communities it serves.

By providing essential household supplies and fostering a creative environment for the children, Pesa aims to celebrate the spirit of Easter through tangible local impact.

“Pesa was built to connect loved ones across borders, but we never want to lose sight of the ‘Home’ at the other end of that connection,” said a spokesperson for Pesa.

“This partnership with GMI is our way of ensuring that the families and children in Ghana feel the same support and security that we provide through our global financial infrastructure.”

During the visit, Pesa will deliver a comprehensive package of essential goods designed to support the home’s daily operations and the children’s well-being:

● Nutritional Staples: Bulk quantities of rice, cooking oil, salt, sugar, biscuits, and assorted drinks.

● Hydration: Pallets of clean drinking water.

● Personal Care & Hygiene: Sanitary towels and a full range of toiletries, including washing and bathing soaps, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and toilet rolls.

Beyond the donation of goods, the event will feature a “Pesa Creative Hour.” The younger residents of GMI will participate in a logo-drawing competition, tasking them with recreating the Pesa logo. This interactive session is designed to blend community support with a fun, engaging experience that highlights the children’s artistic talents.

While Pesa’s digital rails connect users from Canada, the UK, and Europe to the heart of Ghana, this activation reinforces the brand’s commitment to “The Human Factor.” Undoubtedly, Pesa is investing in the health and future of the next generation, proving that behind every global transfer is a local family that deserves to be seen and supported.
