Organisers of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) have officially confirmed a change in venue for the 27th edition of the prestigious event, scheduled for Saturday, May 9.
Earlier announcements indicated that this year’s ceremony would be held at the Palms Convention Centre.
However, in a new development, organisers disclosed that the awards show will now return to the Grand Arena at the Accra International Conference Centre.
The Grand Arena, known for hosting some of Ghana’s biggest entertainment events, has been the traditional home of the TGMA over the years. Its return as the host venue is expected to bring back the familiar atmosphere and production experience audiences have come to associate with the awards.
While reasons for the venue change have not been publicly disclosed, the switch signals a move toward a more established setting capable of accommodating the scale and grandeur of the TGMA.
The 27th edition of the awards promises an exciting night celebrating Ghanaian music excellence, with performances, recognitions, and appearances from top industry players.
Fans and stakeholders are now gearing up for what is expected to be another memorable night at the Grand Arena this weekend.
