Fetish priest Nana Kwaku Bonsam has expressed interest in acquiring the Sakumono church premises of Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi.
He warned that he could turn the property into a “fetish school” if pastors fail to purchase it.
Kwaku Bonsam made the remarks after visiting the Glorious Wave Church property, which Prophet Badu Kobi recently put up for sale following revelations about his financial struggles and plans to relocate based on what he described as divine direction.
Speaking during the inspection of the property, the outspoken fetish priest urged Ghanaians not to mock the prophet over his current challenges, insisting that setbacks in life do not define a person’s future.
“We are all praying that once God has directed Prophet Badu Kobi to relocate, he is not in too much of a fix. Even though he is in a fix, according to the Bible, Job sold all his belongings, and God later lifted him from grace to grace. God can restore Prophet Badu Kobi too,” he stated.
Kwaku Bonsam further praised the size and facilities of the church compound, describing it as a valuable property capable of serving many purposes.
“This compound is big enough to accommodate many cars. The auditorium is huge, and the facilities are impressive. If pastors are not willing to buy it and allow me, a fetish priest, to purchase it, then I will buy it and use it as a fetish school,” he declared.
He also used the opportunity to call for understanding and forgiveness towards Prophet Badu Kobi, acknowledging that some prophetic declarations can be misunderstood or may later produce unintended consequences.
“Sometimes prophetic messages come, and people do not understand them immediately. Some may turn positive or negative due to circumstances. A man’s downfall does not mean it is the end of his life,” he added.
Prophet Badu Kobi recently disclosed that although he is facing financial difficulties, the decision to sell the church property is not to settle debts but rather to obey what he says is God’s instruction to relocate.
