Among the well-wishers is his South-African feuding artiste, AKA.
“CONGRATULATIONS … obviously.” This came after a fan asked AKA that, “@akaworldwide Burna just got nominated for a Grammy, what do you have to say??”, AKA tweeted.

So Burna Boy just got nominated for the #GRAMMYs . This is a big achievement. From being dragged cos he called himself an African Giant to being threatened in SA (show was later cancelled cos of him) , then to this. Burna Boy is the real African Giant. Well deserved 🔥🔥🔥 pic.twitter.com/h9uIfcNce2

The two had been involved in exchanges on twitter during the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa earlier in the year.
During Burna’s Twitter rant, he attacked rapper, AKA and insulted South Africans. When Burna was then announced as a headlining act for the South African concert, AKA and other South Africans demanded an apology from Burna.
