Kumasi’s most respected DJ, DJ Slim, last week announced his resignation from Kumasi-based YFM to join Pure FM.
This is after 5 years of exceptional service to the station that saw him drive up the ratings of the late afternoon show he hosted and the overall ratings of the station.
He moves with two of the most sought after radio personalities, Koo Seebor and DJ Aroma.
The move will see DJ Slim joining forces with the legendary Kwame Adinkra at Pure FM in a bod to unseat the leading Kumasi radio stations from the top of the charts.
Pure FM is run by the Angel Group of Companies, owned by Dr Kwaku Oteng. The group also operates Kumasi-based Angel FM, Angel TV in Accra, as well as Obuasi-based O FM.
