M.anifest

Pae Mu Ka shook up the entire Hip-life/Hip-Hop scene in Ghana and became the yardstick for what a classic is! #PaeMukaAt20

— M.anifest (@manifestive) May 29, 2019

Mensa

Here’s an idea 😊

@iamobrafour please release acapella for Pae Mu Ka to some of the sickest producers in Ghana (we have MANY) and select the best 10 for Pae Mu Ka 20th Anniversary Remix album!

It’ll be so dope!
And such an honour for the New Gen to be a part of dis legacy 💁🏾‍♂️

Fans of Obrafour

Pae Mu Ka came out 20 years ago? Such a classic! It changed the whole music scene. Gave birth to a certain kind of hiplife that only phased out like 5 years ago.
Remember the back to back listens at Grandpa’s @SedudziTsegah @theSheikH90 #PaeMukaAt20

This album from @iamobrafour #PaeMukaAt20 is as relevant today as it was 20 years ago…..today,people are producing “Chinese raps” which last for only 1 month..not content..only beat and noise

— THIS IS AFRICA (T.I.A) (@blac4rina) May 29, 2019

It was @iamobrafour‘s proverbial lyrical dexterity that paved way for Hip Life, as a genre, to gain nationwide acceptance in Ghana.

Back then, the now Legend was a local hero to all the young New Fadama youngies.

God bless you Michael Kwabena Okyere Darko 🙏 #PaeMukaAt20

— Kojo Asante 🇬🇭 (@Mister_Asante) May 29, 2019

@iamobrafour‘s ‘Pae mu ka’ is still relevant and sounds pleasurable to the ear. The lyrics carries a great message. 👇👇👇

“Ɛnfa ɛnyɛ akwadorɔ, pae mu ka. Ɛmma no ɛnya ansa, wodeɛ fadi agorɔ ɛ. Menso maka.” #PaeMukaAt20

These lyrics tells us not to be lazy to speaking out.

— Ebenezer Peegah👑 (@Peegah_Ebenezer) May 29, 2019

#PaeMukaAt20 anniversary will be launched later in the day at Tang palace hotel in Accra, the event is strictly by invitation and will be covered by Ghana Weekend.
