BHIM nation President, Stonebwoy in an interview on Daybreak Hitz told Andy Dosty that he has rendered apologies to all the necessary quarters after the misunderstanding on the VGMA night but he got no reply up until now.
He said he was the first to apologize right from the night but no official response has been received yet.
According to him, this act is some form of disrespect to him although he is grateful his music cannot be stopped.
“I was the first one to render an apology. Right on the stage, we sent apology letters to the embassies, to Vodafone and all of that and I didn’t even get a formal reply from some of them which I also take as disrespect.
“I’m nobody. I may be nobody but once my apology is required and needed, I think that it will be also nice because respect has to be given, for you to say- ‘oh yes we’ve received your letter’ at least. If you’re agreeing to the apology or not it’ll be very nice to say we’ve received your letter or not so I’ve done the best that I can but I think that so far so good”
When asked if CharterHouse has replied, he said “I don’t know about that. Nobody has formally done anything like that but we made sure we sent apologies to respective places where they have to be.
To Vodafone, he said an apology was sent but no response came in.
