It appears Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale have resolved not to return plaques of awards they won at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards after they were banned and penalised causing an altercation at the event.
Part of the punishment was that they should return the plaques of awards they won at the awards.
However, dancehall act, Stonebwoy in an interview with Andy Dosty today, has said he is yet to return the VGMA plaques he won.
According to him, returning the plaques would be double disrespect to his image and brand.
“I haven’t returned them. It’s double disrespect to even carry the plaque again and go to Charterhouse”
“It’s double disrespect because I didn’t come and steal the awards. My fans paid to vote. I voted, my image was used to promote, I was supposed to perform, I had props, I had set, everything was there. I was still in the auditorium at the time, my life was at risk, security measures was zero, everything was what it was, people took things for granted anyhow. Somebody could have died that day including myself.”
“All these things, let nobody turn a blind eye to this one. It’s a topic for the gods for another day so let’s shove it on the side,” he concluded.
