Kelvyn Boy in an interview on Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty today revealed that while he was under the Burniton Music Group, he had to pay for most of his music videos.

According to him, the BHIM Nation tags were added to the videos although he paid from his own pocket.

He said this when he was trying to give instances in where he showed his appreciation to the label.

He said anyone who feels he has not been grateful enough should go and check his social media handles and pages for all his posts and videos which he paid for himself to be released the label’s project.

“Although some of the videos I paid with my money. I think 80% of it I paid myself but it comes out with BHIM Nation tag because I think Stone helped me. The rest is me.

“I mean he showed me how to fish and I don’t have to so they’ll wake me up early morning to go and fish. I have to know. I have to work hard to make them proud. And everybody was proud- Blakk Cedi, DJ Justice, everybody, Diddy, everybody around was proud and that’s the only thing I needed from Stonebwoy to be proud of me and appreciate me.”

When the host asked what happens to the videos and songs he shot under Burniton Music Group now that they have parted ways, he replied, “ They’re for Burniton Music Group. The songs was all under Burniton Music Group”.

He confirmed he will still perform them although they were under his former label. He however added that he has no idea where the royalties will be directed since he has never benefited from spotify streams.

“I don’t know cos I have never benefitted from my craft; not even 1 cedi from spotify or youtube. I don’t know nothing about that. I’ve not seen any platform”.

He said all that did not matter to him because he was only concerned with working hard and not disappointing his boss who introduced him to the world.
