Sammy Flex has condemned the attack of Kwaw Kese by Shatta Wale’s fans during the Reign concert on Saturday.
Kwaw Kese was one of the acts who performed on the night of Shatta Wale’s album launch. While performing, fans threw bottles at him and tried as he did, at least one some got him.
Sammy Flex, the host of Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon FM has condemned the act and has advised that fans stop attacking artistes on stage because the supporting act had an issue with their favourite act.
He also made reference to instances where Feli Nuna, Sister Afia were pelted on stage at different events.
“There is something we have to tell the fans. If there is a beef between your artiste and that performer, he wouldn’t have given him the stage to start with. This is not the first time it is happening. I think we’ve seen this several times,” Sammy Flex noted.
“Now to the fans, ladies and gentlemen, please if there is a fight between your artiste and that particular artiste who is coming to support, first of all, they won’t give him or her the stage so the moment they gave that stage to him you should know that there wasn’t any beef. That was not the time for you to settle a beef,” he reiterated.
“It’s even embarrassing to your boss himself. He has allowed him to be on the stage and you guys are stoning him. Does it mean he doesn’t know what is right or wrong? Last year when he felt Samini and Stonebwoy weren’t welcome on his stage when they came there, he made them go. He made them go because he felt ‘I don’t need you on the stage at this time’ so if Kwaw Kese was given the stage to perform, why pelt him with bottles? Arnold added.
Sammy further stated that acts would prevent certain artistes from mounting some platforms.
“Do you know such an act will prevent people like say Sarkodie if he had a genuine heart that oh Shatta Wale is having a show, I wish to go there to support. Because of what they did, he’ll never go. Because he’s not secured,” Sammy said again.
“In fact, we’re condemning that act. If you are part of those people who did that, if you threw a bottle or whatever at Kwaw Kese, shame unto you” he concluded.
