Rufftown Records CEO Bullet has refuted claims that Fantana’s mother paid him huge sums of money to sign her daughter on his label.
Rumours have it that the only reason Bullet agreed to sign the ‘So what’ singer is because he was paid an amount of money he couldn’t reject.
Speaking to Zion Felix in an interview, Bullet said he only signed her because she is talented.
He said everyone on his label is talented.
“I started investing in Fantana before the mother came on the scene. I even took her to the studio to record her before her mother came. Her mother gave me no money”
“I believe in talent. I believe in anyone who has aims of doing something. I saw her talent which is why I started recording her myself so it’s never true. Fantana’s mum knows it’s not true, Fantana herself knows it’s not true and Blown GH knows it’s not true that I was given money. I saw her talent and within 4 months she has done so well,” he said.
He also described her as the hottest in her time.
“She is the hottest new wave. Who doesn’t know Fantana now?” He quizzed
According to him, Fantana’s deal is a 5 year deal under Rufftown Records while Blown GH manages her as well.
He explained that Fantana’s mother is a partner who invests as well as he does.
He said he takes care of studio bills, moving to and fro while the mother takes care of some other things.
