AMG Boss Criss Waddle has refuted claims that Medikal is the brainchild of AMG and that he, Criss was only made CEO to manage affairs.
He said he had to create the label to sign Medikal when he saw that he is talented and needed to be seen by the world.
A friend (Sweenity) to Medikal who also became a friend to Criss Waddle has been going about saying Criss Waddle told him AMG is Medikal’s idea.
This friend was also part of the AMG at a point and Criss Waddle described him as “a brother from the beginning of AMG.”
Contrary to the rumours, the ‘Ayi’ singer told Sammy Flex on his show that his words were misunderstood and that the idea to set up AMG is not Medikal’s.
“ What I told him was AMG was built because of Medikal. If you know Criss Waddle very well, you know that the slogan is ‘…its R2Bees Criss Waddle.’ That tells you that I’m the property of R2Bees. Now R2Bees is not my record label so if I find a talent like Medikal and I want to put him on, there’s no way I can sign him to R2Bees since its not my record label so I needed to create my own record label so when I say it Was created for Medikal or because of Medikal that’s the point I was trying to make to him,” he explained.
He reiterated that his explanation was misunderstood.
“So if I say it was created because of him, maybe he misunderstood it but that’s the point. That’s the main reason why I said what I said,” Criss Waddle noted.
